Old house playground is the musical meeting between three artists after lots of empty beer cans, whisky bottles and smoky bar nights.Artists such as Tom Waits, The White Stripes, Madrugada, Bukowski, Van Morrison, Astor Piazolla, Marcos Vamvakaris, Camaron de la Isla, Howling Wolf and Peter Green are some of the band’s main influences.

Based in Manchester Old house playground are playing as many gigs as possible to get their music to their audience. So far 
they have played in Fuel, had a monthly slot at The Gin Club, played Trof in both Fallowfield and the Northern Quarter, The Ram and Shackle, The Whitworth, Old Orleans, Bar One, Indigo, Sound Control, Sandbar, Blue cat café, Brunswick, Night and Day café, The Roadhouse, Kro bar, Dry bar and the Thirsty Scholar. They are gathering a growing audience and are soon
to gig around the country. Airplay in the UK so far has been on Ola's Kool Kitchen on Radio 23, Rawflane hosting by Alex Drane and on Unsigned Show on All FM 96.9 hosting by Ursula Pabisch and Tom Kerswill.
